Paul Wheeler

Paul Wheeler qualified as a solicitor in 1977. He has over forty years experience in all types of property matters, probate and estate administration, Will preparation, powers of attorney and asset preservation.  Paul attends several professional development courses each year covering complex conveyancing, Probate Administration, Will writing and Court of Protection matters.

Paul founded ‘Paul Wheeler Solicitor’ as a sole practitioner on the Isle of Wight in 2002 and incorporated the company as ‘Wheelers Solicitors’ in 2011.

Paul is an active member of Vectis Sunrise Rotary club and participates in many fund-raising activities for the charity.  In 2018 Paul Wheeler will be scaling the Millennium dome for the second time to help raise money to eradicate polio.

Since establishing Wheelers Solicitors Paul Wheeler has managed 4,265 conveyancing transactions and 183 Probate administrations (figures correct December 2018).

Paul Wheeler spends 80% of his time dealing with Residential Conveyancing Transactions covering all levels of complexity.

 

Jacob Sandbach

Legal Services: Residential Conveyancing & Commercial Conveyancing

Jacob Sandbach joined Wheelers Solicitors in 2014 after previously training and working in Birmingham.  Jacob qualified as a solicitor in September 2016 and became a director of the company in 2016.  Jacob completes several professional development courses each year with a focus on commercial and residential conveyancing.

Jacob has built an extensive network across the Isle of Wight in relation to both commercial and residential conveyancing.  Jacob actively participates in business networking groups and the charity fundraising organisation Roundtable.

Since joining Wheelers Solicitors Jacob Sandbach has managed 1,299 conveyancing transactions (figures correct December 2018)

Laura Barton

Laura Barton | Wheelers Solicitors Isle of Wight

Legal Services: Residential Conveyancing

Laura Barton joined Wheelers Solicitors in 2015 after working in other Isle of Wight law firms.  Laura has become a firm favourite with her clients due to her friendly and thorough approach to Residential Conveyancing.  Laura qualified as a solicitor in March 2017 and became a director of the company in 2017.  Laura completes several professional development courses each year with a focus on residential conveyancing.

Laura is also a very keen athlete and participates in many running and triathlon events both on the Island and the Mainland.  In 2018 Laura will be competing in her first ‘Iron man’ competition consisting of a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bicycle ride and a marathon.  We are sure that she will prove that the competition should be renamed ‘Iron woman’.

Lewis Wheeler

Lewis Wheeler | Wheelers Solicitors Isle of Wight

Legal Services: Probate and Estate Administration & Court of Protection

Lewis Wheeler is Paul Wheeler’s eldest son and rejoined the firm in 2016 after living in London and Brighton. Lewis Wheeler is studying to be a Chartered Legal Executive with CILEx Law School, he also completes several professional development courses each year with with a focus on Will writing, Probate administration and Inheritance Tax.

Lewis takes pride in assisting families through a very difficult time in their lives.  His clients often comment on the thoroughness of his work and how he helps them navigate through what can be very complex administrations.

Lewis has a keen interest in Dance and Theatre and has performed with several Island companies.

Since joining Wheelers Solicitors Lewis Wheeler has managed 124 Probate administrations (figures correct December 2018).

Lewis Wheeler spends 90% of his time dealing with Probate Administration on non-contentious Probate cases.  Lewis is supervised by Paul Wheeler.
